The Government of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul announced the paving of MS-316, an important highway that connects Chapadão do Sul to Inocência, passing through Morangas. This initiative, crucial for the integration of the north and Bolsão regions, was made official with the publication of the contract for the executive engineering project in the Official Gazette this Thursday (9)

The highway, which will have a paved length of 110.3 km, is strategic for the transport of local production, which includes soybeans, corn, sugar cane and eucalyptus, and for the entry of essential inputs. The project, led by the State Agency for Enterprise Management (Agesul) and linked to the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Logistics (Seilog), is divided into three lots to speed up the work.

The total investment in the paving project is estimated at R$3.9 million, with lot 2, which extends for 39.5 km, receiving around R$1,397,919.68. Lot studies include detailed analyzes to ensure the viability and effectiveness of the paving.

Furthermore, the Official Gazette also highlights an important agreement with the municipality of Juti, which will receive more than R$6.1 million for asphalt paving and drainage in Neighborhood 01, as part of agreement 436/2024. These projects reflect the commitment of Governor Eduardo Riedel and Secretary Helio Peluffo to regional development, facilitating transportation and offering greater safety on road travel.

“The paving of these roads not only improves the quality of life of local residents, but also reduces travel time and enhances the economic development of the entire State”, emphasizes Peluffo.
