On the morning of this Thursday, the 9th, an accident involving a trailer loaded with pallets caught the attention of drivers traveling along BR-101, close to the village of Wassu Cocal, in Joaquim Gomes, in the Alagoas forest area. According to witness reports, the driver, a 60-year-old man, lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the truck tipping over.

Despite the scare, fortunately there were no reports of serious injuries. The truck driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, suffered only minor injuries. A team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and provided first aid at the scene of the accident.

After receiving the necessary care, the driver refused to be taken to a hospital. Part of the pallet load was spread across the road, which required a partial closure of the road to carry out removal procedures. Local authorities warn drivers traveling through the region about the importance of paying extra attention, especially on sections with sharp curves such as Bom Futuro, to avoid further accidents.

It is essential that drivers are aware of road conditions and act responsibly behind the wheel, in order to ensure their own safety and that of other road users. The occurrence of the accident serves as a warning about the need for caution and respect for traffic rules, aiming to preserve lives and avoid material damage.
