Donations for RS victims can be made at Bahia fire stations
Donations are accepted from 8am to 6pm

All Bahia Military Fire Brigade (CBMBA) barracks are receiving, from 8 am to 6 pm, water, animal feed, personal hygiene and cleaning materials and non-perishable food. Donations will be taken to the victims of the rain that hits Rio Grande do Sul.
“Our first concern was to send firefighters to work in that region, providing the necessary support, mainly in searches and rescues. Now we have started this campaign to collect donations, reminding citizens to observe the expiration date of donated items”, explained the deputy commander – General of CBMBA, Colonel Jorge Piauhy.
Since last Thursday (2), 23 firefighters from Bahia have been in Rio Grande do Sul. The military has been working in the regions of Bento Gonçalves and Caxias do Sul, mainly searching for missing people and rescuing animals, as well as sweeping areas risk and removal of exposed power cables.
