Tourist information for 13 cities is on Amazonas To Go, launched 1 year ago

Technology, sustainability and tourist information in the palm of your hand are present in an exclusive tool in the Amazonian tourism sector, Amazonas To Go. Launched by the Government of Amazonas, through the Amazonas State Tourism Company, it completes one year of assistance to tourists.

With more than 30 thousand accesses, in addition to the capital Manaus, the municipalities of Rio Preto da Eva, Presidente Figueiredo, Manacapuru, Iranduba, Novo Airão, Careiro, Boa Vista do Ramos, Maués, Itacoatiara and Parintins already have the platform available, with highlighting assistance to tourists during the 56th Parintins Festival.

For the president of Amazonatur, Ian Ribeiro, the tool is a milestone in Amazonian tourism, in addition to highlighting regular establishments that offer safe tourism. “The tool was a great investment and success for local tourism, the digitization of this official information offers security to tourists 24 hours a day, as many times as they need it,” celebrates Ribeiro.

Information in the palm of your hand

The tool that offers quick, easy and safe information about places to eat, stay and contacts of accredited guides, all within reach of the palm of your hand through the WhatsApp messaging application is part of the investment and expansion planning for all municipalities in Amazonas present on the tourism map.

The technology has an interface that is easy to identify and use and features the Amazonas To Go mascot, Natu. In addition to being available in Portuguese, English and Spanish, “Amazonas to go” can be accessed by tourists via the number +55 92 99356-8775 or QR Codes present in tourist attractions, businesses and accommodation facilities, tourism agencies, restaurants, among others.

To provide official information and ensure that the tool is up to date, Amazonastur has a technical team that works daily with the company’s tourism experts in each municipality to enter the information into the chatboot.

Accreditation

Tourist service providers who are interested in accreditation can contact Amazonastur.

The following documents are required for this: copy of ID, CNPJ card, Cadastur certificate (regular), Service Provision Form (Annex I of the Accreditation Notice), Completed and signed Term of Adhesion (Annex II of the accreditation notice ), Information and sending documentation via email – [email protected].gov.br.
