The Urban Cleaning Service (SLU) promoted, this Thursday (9), the Social Mobilization Workshop for environmental education agents from the three contracted companies: Valor Ambiental, Suma Brasil and Sustentare Saneamento. The teams participated in lectures and training to improve the service provided to the population of the Federal District.

Mobilizers were updated on topics such as the garbage route; selective collection and cooperatives; ombudsman service and participation in GDF events, for example. They also underwent training on the use of digital forms, used during environmental education actions, and also on how to approach people to provide guidance related to conventional and selective collection, recycling and other services provided by the municipality.
“A novelty of this workshop is that environmental education agents were introduced to an application developed by SLU in which they will be able to automate the service, collecting information received from the population, through door-to-door guidance”, explained the SLU server Milton Barros.
Social mobilization teams undergo training and refresher courses periodically. The objective is to instruct, train and inform employees who are part of SLU’s environmental education actions, which take place monthly throughout the DF.
