The meeting aims to strengthen Gurupi’s business community and boost the regional economy by holding a business fair.

The Gurupi Commercial and Industrial Association (ACIG) visited the office of the Secretary of State for Industry, Commerce and Services of Tocantins, Carlos Humberto Lima, this Thursday (05/09), with the aim of presenting the project for the holding of Fenesul (Southern Region Business Fair) in 2024.

The project will now undergo evaluation by the Tocantins Economic Development Council (CDE), during Agrotins, which will take place next week.

“Fenesul is a dream. We reactivated it last year and the forecast for 2024 is that we will have a huge, beautiful, attractive fair that will provide a lot of business. We work tirelessly to strengthen the Gurupi business community”, declared the president of ACIG, Wilson de Souza.

The XVII edition of Fenesul promises to encourage local economic activity, with the expectation of receiving around 30 thousand visitors over the three days of the event, in addition to having more than 100 stands.

Lectures, shows, parades and a wide range of business opportunities are described as the main focus of the event. The fair is scheduled to take place in mid to late September, promising to further boost the regional economy and strengthen commercial ties in the southern region of Tocantins.
