Announced for the third time, the selection process is highly anticipated, given the multidisciplinary nature of the course, which deals with topics such as creating public policies for the elderly population, as well as improvements in assistance and improvement of health services available to the target audience. “The previous classes were a great success”, guarantees the head of the Escs Specialization Center, Demétrio Gonçalves Gomes. According to him, “candidates are normally people who already have some experience with elderly people, but the search is not restricted to health professionals, as other areas are also interested in the topic, such as lawyers, physical educators and social workers”.

Unlike previous classes, this edition has seven modules, the last being dedicated exclusively to the guidance of the course completion work (TCC). “This change was made after listening to the demand of some graduates and realizing that it was necessary to have a module just for scientific methodology, related to the TCC”, says Demétrio. With regard to content, educational units and evaluation criteria, he ensures that they remain the same as in other classes.
