Manaus (AM) – Two men, aged 21 and 40, were arrested this Thursday (2), for involvement in a theft of a safe from a commercial establishment that occurred on Wednesday night, in the municipality of Lábrea (702 kilometers from Manaus ).
The owner reported to police officers from the 4th Independent Military Police Company (CIPM) that the suspects took the safe that was on site, with more than R$1,000 in cash and customer credit cards.
During the investigations, the Military Police managed to identify the vehicle that the criminals used to carry out the crime. The car was found at the home of one of the men involved in the robbery.
In the second residence, the safe that had been taken by the duo was found. The police managed to recover R$1,024 in cash and a plastic bag with several credit cards. A cocaine tablet, 61 portions of cocaine, two cell phones, a precision scale and plastic packets for preparing and selling the drug were also seized.
The duo, along with the seized material, was taken to the 6th Interactive Police Station (DIP).

The Amazonas Military Police advises the population to report immediately upon becoming aware of any criminal action, via hotline 181 or 190. The identity of the complainant will be kept confidential.
