In the month of April 2024, the Judicial Secretariat of the Court of Justice of Mato Grosso do Sul recorded a high distribution, reaching 9,654 cases. In a comparison with the same month in 2023, which counted 6,635, this represents an increase of 45%. Even so, the percentage of trials carried out by the TJMS managed to reach the mark of 97.13%, which means a total of 9,377 cases judged in one month.

The TJMS Judicial Secretariat has stood out in recent years for its efficiency in distributing second instance cases, keeping it up to date, without delays, demonstrating the commitment of the responsible team. It is worth noting that, despite the high number of cases, since January 2021 the distribution of 2nd degree occurs on the same day, or at most the following day, both for cases coming from the 1st degree and for those originating. The reason for the speed is due to the automatic study of prevention, carried out entirely by the system, after checking the registration by distribution sector analysts.

During the distribution process, employees of the Judiciary Secretariat carry out a thorough review of the registration and documents created by lawyers, correcting and complementing conflicting information when necessary. Only after this step are the processes forwarded to the distribution automation system. Therefore, the crucial importance of correct and detailed registration by lawyers on the e-SAJ portal is evident, in order to guarantee the speed and efficiency of the procedure.

The SAJSG5 system is responsible for carrying out an automatic prevention analysis, forwarding the process to the responsible judge when necessary, or distributing it through a draw. The corresponding terms are then issued and the case is immediately concluded to the rapporteur.

In this way, the absence of queues at distribution reflects the commitment and joint effort of judges and civil servants to provide the population of Mato Grosso do Sul with efficient and effective judicial provision. This agility has positioned the TJMS as one of the fastest Courts in the country.
