The Civil Police, through the 11th Regional Police Station (11th DRP) of União dos Palmares, confirmed this Thursday, 2nd, the arrest of a man suspected of at least six rapes of vulnerable people, which occurred in that municipality, in Alagoas.
According to information, the arrest of the 34-year-old individual, whose identity was not disclosed, was made last Monday (30). He had been on the run since February this year, after being accused of rape of a vulnerable person, involving six minors, boys and girls, aged between 6 and 16 years old.
The 11th DRP team, under the command of delegate Guilherme Ilusten, managed to locate and arrest the suspect in a supermarket located in the Tabuleiro do Martins neighborhood, in Maceió, complying with the arrest warrant issued by the Court.
Crime
The crime took place on January 8th of this year, at a farm in the city of União dos Palmares. According to the information, a birthday party was being celebrated at the time, and the abuse took place inside the pool. The victims reside in the city of Branquinha.
Upon learning of the fact, the victims’ parents contacted the Guardianship Council of the city of Branquinha and reported the case, which was forwarded to the Regional Police Station of União dos Palmares, where the appropriate measures were taken.
