After action by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Alagoas, the defendant CSR was sentenced to 10 years, 9 months and 22 days of closed prison for rape of a vulnerable person, threat and persecution, crimes provided for in articles 217-A, 147 and 147-A of the Penal Code, respectively.
According to prosecutor Ramon Formiga, in 2021, in Palestine, the defendant, aged 17 at the time, committed criminal acts equivalent to the crime of rape of a vulnerable person against a 12-year-old teenager. Upon reaching the age of majority, he continued to commit the practice, which became a de facto crime.
The teenager reports that, during the two years she was a victim of the accused, she suffered verbal and psychological abuse. After the two separated, in April 2022, the teenager began to be persecuted by the defendant, even receiving death threats. It is also worth mentioning that, from their relationship, a boy was born.
Faced with all these criminal practices, the Sugar Prosecutor’s Office filed a complaint fighting for the man’s conviction, a request that was accepted by the district judge.
