The Caixa Econômica Federal competition attracted 11,291 candidates to take the tests in the four largest cities in Mato Grosso do Sul. Campo Grande had the most applicants, with 6,315 interested in the position of technician, a role that requires secondary education. The salary is R$3,762.

The competition was announced in February, with 14 vacancies in the State. In Corumbá, there were 995 registered; the second largest number was in Dourados, with 2,777 people and in Três Lagoas there were 1,204. There were also ten doctors registered in Campo Grande for occupational medicine positions.

There are 3 vacancies in Campo Grande; 3 in Corumbá; 2 in Dourados and 2 in Três Lagoas. For reserve registration, there are 4 vacancies, one in each municipality mentioned.

Anyone who signed up for tests in Campo Grande, Três Lagoas and Corumbá and is approved can be designated to compete for three places, to work in Anastácio, Aquidauana, Corumbá, Coxim, Ladário, Miranda, São Gabriel do Oeste and Sonora. Candidates approved in Dourados may be assigned to agencies in Amambai, Bonito, Caarapó, Costa Rica, Dourados, Fátima do Sul, Itaporã, Ivinhema, Jardim, Maracaju, Mundo Novo, Naviraí, Nova Alvorada do Sul, Nova Andradina and Ponta Porã, Porto Murtinho and Rio Brilhante.

The tests will take place on May 26th. In total, 1.2 million people signed up. The highest numbers were in Brasília, with 63,953 people and Rio de Janeiro, with 54,852.
