Interested people will have until May 20th to register via the website. There are more than 120 vacancies available, valid for the company’s units in the states of AlagoasGoiás, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Piauí, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Sergipe.

To participate, candidates must be enrolled in courses such as Administration, Architecture, Biology, Accounting Sciences, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Network and Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Mechatronic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Human Resources Management, Artificial Intelligence, Marketing, Mathematics, Psychology, International Relations, Information Technology, Process and Product Technology, Logistics Technology (bachelor’s degree, technologist or degree), among others. It is necessary to have training scheduled between December 2025 and 2027, availability to intern 6 hours a day and live close to the chosen unit.

The internship is expected to start in August and can last from one to two years.

According to Gerdau’s global director of People and Social Responsibility, Flávia Nardon, the program aims to provide opportunities for university students eager for knowledge and curious.

“We want to attract and develop talents that can contribute to Gerdau’s future, through practical, daily experiences and continuous exchange with tutors and managers”, he states.

“All people within the prerequisites are welcome in the program and there is no age limit for enrollment. We value a diverse and inclusive environment and, for another year, vacancies they prioritize the hiring of women and black and brown people”, adds Flavia.

The G.Start program offers both professional development and support, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, which includes a competitive grant, transportation assistance or chartered transportation (depending on the location), meal vouchers (when there is no cafeteria in the units ), health plan, dental plan and life insurance.

The open internship vacancies are valid for the units of Aparecida de Goiânia (GO), Aracaju (SE), Araçariguama (SP), Araquari (SC), Araucária (PR), Cabo de Santo Agostinho (PE), Campo Grande, Charqueadas (RS), Contagem (MG), Cotia (SP), Cuiabá (MT), Curitiba (PR), Divinópolis (MG), Guarulhos (SP), Itabirito (MG), Maceió (AL), Ouro Branco (MG), Ouro Preto (MG), Panambi (RS), Passo Fundo (RS), Pindamonhangaba (SP), Recife (SP), Ribeirão Preto (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), São Caetano do Sul (SP), São Paulo (SP), Teresina (PI), Tijucas (SC) and Três Marias (MG).
