AL RPG CLUB launches XP project in Alagoas

-

The Alagoan Role-playing Game Association (AL RPG CLUB) announced on its Instagram, the launch of the “XP Project – Literature in motion”, carried out through a parliamentary amendment by Senator Rodrigo Cunha. The project aims to carry out storytelling and literary writing workshops, focused on role-playing games (RPG).

The project will be carried out weekly in the cities of Maceió and Arapiraca, at the respective headquarters of the Association, and aims to serve 200 young people, including RPG players and narrators, both beginners and veterans, transmitting narrative, diction, interpretation and literary writing techniques.

The launch of the “XP project” will take place on May 5th, at Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Nosso Lar I, alongside the Juventude Conectada event, where there will be several activities aimed at the nerdy public.

According to Marcus Kelly, president of AL RPG CLUB, the XP project will increase young people’s taste for literature. “RPG has been a strategy for young people to sharpen their taste for literary works, both by experiencing stories already told, where they become the protagonist, and by creating their own stories, opening doors to future literary works.” Marcus concluded.

For Ramon Dules, regional president of AL RPG CLUB Filial Arapiraca, the XP project will shake up the nerd scene in Arapiraca. ” With the XP project, we will also launch the branch headquarters in Arapiraca, where young people will be able to meet to play RPG and exchange experiences. The workshops will expand the audience for storytelling and perhaps be used as a teaching tool in other areas, beyond fun.” Ramon concluded.

Registration for the XP project is free and can be done via the website: linktr.ee/alrpgclub
