A widespread confusion ended with the intervention of the Municipal Guard in the late afternoon of this Wednesday, 25th. A fight that started inside the Aurélio Góes State School, in the city of Junqueiro, in Alagoas, ended in the middle of the street. Witnesses recorded the videos, which went viral on social media.
Those involved in the confusion are minors and students from the school unit. According to a teacher, the teenagers started the fight inside the school and after staff intervened, they went outside the building and attacked each other until they were separated by two Municipal Guard agents.
In the videos it is possible to see the fight taking place outside the school unit and witnessed by other students. According to the teacher, there is no information about the motivations that would have resulted in the confusion. “If it weren’t for the guard, one would have killed the other”, highlighted the teacher.
To the Alagoas24hoursthe head of operations of the Civil Police of the Junqueiro Police Station, Daniel Pinto, highlighted that the summons to the directors of the school unit and the parents of the students involved will be made official.
The complaint was not made official with the police station. According to him, measures should be taken inside the school unit, where the fight would have started. “We will adopt measures so that they are aware of this. We will notify the school management and the students’ parents and depending on what happened, if there was bodily injury we may be able to open legal proceedings”, highlighted the head of operations.
The reporting team at Alagoas24hours contacted the State Secretariat for Education and Culture (Seduc), but until the closing of this edition had not commented.
