The rescue of all people who were stranded at the company Datacon, in Eldorado do Sul, was completed today. The information was confirmed by surfer and digital influencer Pedro Scooby, who leads a group of surfers who came to Rio Grande do Sul to assist in the rescues for flood victims.

This Tuesday, he shared the information in his stories on Instagram. “We just got out of the water. Today was a special day”, celebrated Scooby, describing the day’s work.

According to the surfer’s report, initially, the team flew over the region in a helicopter to assess the most affected areas. “Many people sent a message to go to the Getúlio Vargas school, we managed to rescue around 50 people there”, said Scooby.

He also mentioned the rescue at Datacon, where a team effort made it possible to save a large number of people. The action involved several security forces, including the Civil Police, Federal Police and Fire Department, with air support. “In the end we still managed to find a gym and there were more than 20 dogs there, but we managed to save them all”, added Scooby.

He also shared other rescue stories, such as that of a man who was reluctant to leave his home, until the volunteers realized that his wife was pregnant and managed to convince him. Another story is that of a woman who recently underwent a cesarean section and also had to be convinced to leave with her newborn child. “Within all the terror and all the tragedy, it brings relief and a softness to the heart,” concluded Scooby.
