II REGIONAL MINI ROCKET FESTIVAL OPENS REGISTRATION AND PROMISES TO SHAKE RIO GRANDE DO NORTE

From May 5th to 11th, Rio Grande do Norte will be the setting for the II Regional Minirocket Festival, an event organized by the Brazilian Minirocket Association (ABMF/BAR). With the aim of promoting practical teaching in aerospace sciences and rocket operations, the festival is open for registration until April 30th, inviting enthusiasts and experts to participate in a week full of educational and exciting activities.

Strategic partnerships and dynamic programming

The festival has the support of renowned institutions, such as the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), the Fundação Norte-Rio-Grandense de Pesquisa e Cultura (FUNPEC), and other local entities, ensuring a robust structure and an environment conducive to learning. The program includes training, lectures on technology and science, round tables, technical visits and, of course, the long-awaited mini-rocket launches.

Mini-rocket launches and educational impact

The launches, which will take place on the 8th, 9th and 10th of May in the city of Pureza (RN), are the highlight of the festival. With a maximum height of 500 meters, these mini rockets not only provide spectacle, but are also a valuable educational tool, providing young people with hands-on experience in aerospace STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).
