A teacher from the state education system in the municipality of Nossa Senhora das Dores was removed from school activities due to sexual harassment. He is being investigated for gestures of sexual connotation and offensive words against female students, as well as derogatory comments of a homophobic, racist and sexist nature. The information was released by the Civil Police of Sergipe, this Thursday (25).
“There was a meeting between the Projeto Acolher team and the students from the teaching unit and at that meeting, the students expressed, in the form of an outburst, a series of problems they were experiencing due to a certain teacher”, said delegate Wanderson Bastos .
According to the delegate, the Public Ministry of Sergipe requested the State Department of Education to open disciplinary administrative proceedings. The Civil Police requests that reports about the case be made via Hotline, via 181.
The State Department of Education (Seduc) reported that the case is being monitored by the Public Security Department.
