Woman is arrested for carrying out a coup at the restaurant where she works in Leblon | Rio de Janeiro

Rio – An administrator of a restaurant was arrested red-handed, accused of attempted embezzlement, this Wednesday (24), in Leblon, in the South Zone of Rio. The victim, who is the owner of the establishment, suspected that the woman was carrying out a scam and reported it to the police station. The action was carried out by civil police officers from the 14th DP (Leblon).

According to investigations, the prisoner forged payment slips that were paid by the company’s boss. He thought he was depositing them into the account of one of his suppliers, but the amounts were credited to a CNPJ account linked to the employee.

She created a fictitious company, with a registered CNPJ, to deceive the restaurant owner. The registration number was used as belonging to one of the establishment’s suppliers, so that the deviation would not be noticed by him.

The agents went to the establishment on the payment closing date and arrested the woman. At the scene, when questioned, she confirmed that she had already committed the same crime on other occasions.
