The nephew of drug dealer Marco Willians Herbas Camacho, Marcola, leader of the First Command of the Capital (PCC), was arrested this Wednesday (24) in Itajaí. According to information from G1, he was found in a high-end rented apartment in the São João neighborhood.
According to authorities, Leonardo Alexander Ribeiro Herbas Camacho was arrested by the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime (Ficco). According to investigations, he managed the criminal organization’s business – such as gambling, drug and weapons trafficking – in Ceará.
The arrest occurred during operations under Operation Primma Migratio, coordinated by the Federal Police and the public security forces of Ceará and which carried out warrants in Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Mato Grosso. Additionally, two police officers were arrested in Ceará.
It is not yet known whether Leonardo was in Itajaí to mislead the authorities or to expand the faction’s operations. He was taken to the Canhanduba Prison Complex, in Itajaí, where he will be isolated until his transfer.
Operation Primma Migratio
‘Operation Primma Migratio’ was triggered by an investigation that began in Ceará, and involved authorities from São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso do Sul, as well as Interpol. According to the PF, jewelry and vehicles were also seized.
During the investigations, which lasted two years, evidence was collected that the PCC leadership had left São Paulo to implement illicit activities in Ceará, such as drug and weapons trafficking, in addition to “jogo do bicho”,
Initially, the criminal group would have generated more than R$300 million in recent years. Part of this money would have been used to corrupt public servants.
In total, 22 preventive arrest warrants, 36 search and seizure warrants and the confiscation of 42 vehicles belonging to those under investigation were issued. Among the actions, the arrest of two military police officers who belong to the organization’s logistics core was ordered.
