Teixeira de Freitas City Hall receives Bahia Entrepreneurial City award

The Municipality of Teixeira de Freitas won, on the night of Tuesday, April 23rd, the Entrepreneurial City category in the 12th edition of the Sebrae Prefeitura Award.

Entrepreneur (PSPE), whose final took place in the Bahian capital of Salvador. Teixeira de Freitas stood out among 187 cities registered in the PSPE, which established a rigorous process for evaluating municipal government projects aimed at economic development and innovation.

The achievement is due to the work carried out by the Uma Teixeira de Oportunidades Economic Development Program, which has more than 30 strategic actions to promote the municipality’s economic growth, as well as opening doors to business opportunities and sustainable development.

The current management’s commitment to boosting the economic potential of Teixeira de Freitas made it possible for the municipality to also win in 2022 in the Territorial Marketing and Economic Sectors categories; and 2nd place in the Entrepreneurial City category, in the XI Sebrae Prefeito Empreendedor Award. Secretary of Economic Development Maxsoely Brito was also present at the award ceremony and highlighted the importance of the recognition: “it is an honor to be able to represent the Far South on the state entrepreneurship map. It was not an easy task; This is the result of the effort and commitment of the various actors involved. Every step taken, every challenge overcome, has brought us to this moment of recognition and celebration.”
