Two people are missing in southern Bahia

Two families from the district of Santo André, in the city of Santa Cruz Cabrália, in the south of Bahia, are looking for a man and a teenager who have been missing since last Friday (19). Relatives of Gerson Freitas, 25 years old, and Davi Santana, 14, said that the boys were friends and left together towards a river in the municipality.

According to Mirly Freitas, Gerson’s sister, family members are desperate and have counted on the help of residents to intensify searches on farms, mangroves, rivers and beaches.

The young people were last seen around 9 pm, near a restaurant in Rio João de Tiba.

“It’s a terrible anguish, we are looking for news”, he lamented.

According to family members, they used to work together, providing services on the beach for local stallholders. The Civil Police ask that any information on the whereabouts of Gerson and Davi be provided by calling 181.
