In the village space, six spaces will be offered to sell it in the food court.

The Special Secretary for Social Communication, Cleon Nascimento, highlights that, this year, the June festivities in Aracaju will feature the participation of 214 entrepreneurs and establishments in the food and beverage sector, which reinforces the state management’s commitment to generating income in the state and, consequently, with the strengthening of the Sergipe economy.

“There are more than 200 businesses, including bars/restaurants and street vendors, that will have the opportunity to increase their sales during the busiest period in our state, known as the ‘Country of Forró’, and many other people who also will benefit from this busy economic chain. The success of the June festivities in 2023 proved that investment in these and other events bring very positive results for our economy, and in 2024 we intend to achieve even better numbers”, points out the manager.

In addition to being a tool for boosting the economy, the June festivities also contribute to the appreciation of Sergipe’s culture, as evidenced by the president of Funcap, Gustavo Paixão. “Once again, we will seek to consolidate the strength of our June festivities and our tradition, showing the whole of Brazil that Sergipe, despite being the smallest state in the country, is great in culture and art, such important aspects of our Sergipanity. ‘Sergipe is the country of forró’, and the State Government invests in every possible way in this motto to benefit the population”, he considers.
