Association of Mothers and Fathers for Democracy (AMPD) and the Faculty of Education of UFRGS (Faced) will hold this Friday (26), at the UFRGS Cultural Center – Central Campus, from 8:30 am to 7 pm, the II Rio Inclusive Education Congress Grande do Sul.

The congress will bring together around 300 participants, in person and via video conference, to debate and deepen the themes of inclusion in education. The program has 10 thematic tables, highlighting the presence of renowned experts such as Dr. Fabiana Mugnol, journalist Isabel Ferrari, and lawyer Vanessa Ziotti, among others. The event will also be marked by cultural activities, including presentations by Florença Sanfelice, from AFAD, the inclusive dance group EDGR, professor Letícia Santetti, and B.Boy Billy Anderson Cassol.

“It will be a day dedicated to deepening educational inclusion tools for atypicals, empowering families and professionals. Our objective is to show that it is possible to significantly advance educational inclusion”, says the honorary president of AMPD and congress curator, Aline Kerber.

The congress has the support of 12 educational and atypical entities, in addition to the sponsorship of organizations such as Cidadania, FETRAFI, SINPRO/RS, SIMPA and Sinapse. In-person registrations are closed, but it is still possible to participate virtually through Sympla, with tickets priced at R$20 (full price) and R$10 (half price).
