The Electoral Court will hold a service effort this Saturday (4) at all 183 service points spread across cities in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

The action called “Sabadão da Democracia” seeks to serve voters less than a week before the electoral registration closes, next Wednesday, May 8th.

Service in electoral zones will take place from 12pm to 5pm for those who need to request various electoral services, such as registration of biometric data, issuance of the first copy of the voter registration card, amendment and registration regularization.

On weekdays, service will be on a first-come, first-served basis, from 11am to 7pm. There is no need to schedule an appointment.

The Electoral Court advises that each voter check the electoral situation on the TRE-RJ website before attending any service point.

And for those who already have their biometrics registered, the guidance is to request TRE-RJ services through the self-service available on the Court’s website.

The deadline for making an online request to change your electoral address, transfer your voting location, regularize or change your registration is also May 8th.

Voters can also obtain information via Dial TRE-RJ (21) 3436-9000, which resumes operations on Monday (6), from 11am to 7pm.
