- In São Paulo, Capital, the average reference for the arroba of beef was R$ 233.
- In Goiânia, Goiás, the indication was R$ 217 for the arroba of beef cattle.
- In Uberaba (MG), an arroba was priced at R$223.
- In Dourados (MS), the arroba was indicated at R$225.
- In Cuiabá, the arroba was indicated at R$ 213.
Wholesale
Beef prices remained stable at wholesale levels.
The business environment still suggests a drop in prices in the short term, in an environment still characterized by a slow replacement between wholesale and retail.
Added to this is the scenario outlined for chicken meat and pork, which have been showing a constant downward trend, reducing the competitiveness of beef on the domestic market, said Iglesias.
The hindquarter remains priced at R$17.50 per kilo. The forequarter is still priced at R$14 per kilo. The needle point remains priced at R$13 per kilo.
