The National Social Security Institute (INSS) began, this Wednesday (24), to make the April payment, which will come with advance credit for the first installment of the 13th salary for retirees, aid beneficiaries and pensioners. In Rio Grande do Norte, more than 534 thousand people will benefit until May 8th, which will be paid according to the final digit of the Social Registration Number (NIS). Policyholders with a monthly income above the national minimum will have their payments credited from May 2nd.
The April payroll of the General Social Security Regime (RGPS), which pays retirements, pensions and aid in RN, is R$899.6 million, added to the R$439.9 million allocated to the payment of the first installment of the 13th salary. The payment of assistance benefits for the month of April will be R$161.6 million.
Following the schedule, starting this Wednesday (24), beneficiaries will be able to consult the payment statement to check how much they will receive.
Benefit number
The first advance installment corresponds to 50% of the total value of the annual allowance and does not include discounts, such as Income Tax, which will only be charged in the second installment, scheduled to be paid between the end of May and the beginning of June. To find out the payment date, simply look at the final number on the benefit card, without considering the last check digit, which appears after the dash.
How to check
For those who do not have access to the internet, simply call Central 135. When calling, provide your CPF number and confirm some registration information, to avoid fraud. Service is available from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm. Policyholders who have access to the web can access the Meu INSS website. After doing the Login On the home screen, click on the “Payment Statement” service. It is possible to access the statement and all details about the payment of the benefit.
The query can also be made through the Meu INSS app, available for devices with Android and iOS systems. As with accessing the website, you will initially need a login and password. After that, all available services and beneficiary information history will be listed.
Who is entitled
The 13th salary is intended for retirees, pensioners and people who received temporary benefits, such as temporary disability assistance and incarceration assistance. However, the value is proportional to the time it takes to receive the benefit. Maternity pay beneficiaries are entitled to the 13th proportional benefit. However, it is paid together with the last installment of the benefit. People who receive the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) for the elderly and people with disabilities are not entitled to the benefit.
