Materazzi and Trezeguet visit a city in the interior of Rio de Janeiro to participate in a reality show

Former players Marco Materazzi and David Trezeguet, World Champions for Italy and France, respectively, made an illustrious visit to the city of Pinheiral, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro.

The two former athletes were great rivals throughout their careers, and they faced each other again, but with a different motivation. Materazzi and Trezeguet are in Brazil for Blockchain Sports, a Biolerrussian company that is producing a reality show with young Brazilian football talents, aged 14 to 16.

The reality show is called “The Big Game” and, in each episode, two mentors are responsible for a team that faces each other at the end of a week of training. In total there will be seven episodes and the first two were recorded in Acopiara, in the interior of Ceará, location of the Blockchain Sports football academy. In the first two episodes, the mentors who faced each other were Bebeto and Amaral, and Dunga and Lúcio. The program is also presented by former player Negrete.

During their stay in Volta Rendoda, in Rio de Janeiro, Marco Materazzi and David Trezeguet have enjoyed the local cuisine.
