Forestry market company expands fleet and strengthens operations in Bahia

-

O The Brazilian forestry market is booming and to offer the best solutions, companies in the sector need to invest in new machines and equipment that guarantee efficiency and agility in the processes carried out. A Reforest Forestry Solutions has just made an investment to boost its portfolio in wood loading. The company acquired two more Sany 2454 excavators, equipped with a 1.35 m² claw, to strengthen operations in the Bahia region.

“We decided to further intensify our capacity, always aiming for the efficiency and safety of our operations. The performance we are achieving with these machines when loading wood drives us towards greater results and effectively meeting the needs of our customers”, explains the general manager of operations at Reflorestar, Nilo Neiva.

The company already had six machines of this same model, which, added to the other models/brands, make a total of 25 excavators dedicated exclusively to loading wood. “This renewal reiterates our commitment to basing our activities and procedures on advanced technology, aiming for excellence and efficiency. The incorporation of new equipment strengthens our maintenance practices and ensures the punctuality of our deliveries”, guarantees Neiva.

China

And with an eye on the future and technological innovation, Neiva was in China at the end of March to learn about the main trends in the machinery market. He visited the Sany factory for excavators, loaders, electric trucks and the equipment testing field. The meeting was led by Sany vice president Wang Zhen and his project engineers. The trip was an invitation from the company Timber, Sany distributor in Brazil, a brand that represents part of Reflorestar’s machinery.

“We realize that the future has already arrived in the world of machinery and equipment that the market has to offer for the forestry sector. The evolution of the autonomy of electric cars, for example, is already a reality. Around 40% of the loaders sold by Sany in the Chinese market are electric. As one of our commitments is to sustainability, we returned to Brazil with new perspectives and ideas for Reflorestar”, comments the general operations manager enthusiastically.
