The Civil Police of the State of Acre (PCAC) took a significant step towards technological modernization and strengthening cybersecurity by actively participating in the EATECH CONFERENCE, a prominent event in the area of information technology and cybersecurity, held from April 16th to 23rd .

Representing PCAC, the Technology and Modernization Division (DITEM), under the leadership of Civil Police Inspector Marcelo Almeida, was present at this crucial event for the exchange of knowledge and updates in the field of technology and information security.

“PCAC’s participation in the EATECH CONFERENCE was not just a formal presence, but part of a strategic commitment to modernize its Information Technology (IT). The institution had already invested in data server infrastructure with high storage capacity and was in the process of implementing protection measures through the cybersecurity and data backup project, led by DITEM”, praised the general delegate, Dr. Henry Maciel.

The Head of DITEM, in addition to actively participating in the event, was invited as a speaker on a panel entitled “Digital sovereignty, data protection and quantum protection in the current threat landscape”. “These initiatives reflect PCAC’s commitment to adopting robust digital security technologies and practices, constantly seeking improvement and strategic partnerships to strengthen its technological infrastructure. The technical alignment also covers the availability and integration of systems, as defined in the last meeting of the CONCPC Civil Police Information Technology Managers Committee”, said Marcelo Almeida.
