The Capacitando Elas program, which offers professional qualification courses to women, announced the selected candidates in the second call. In total, 34 new recruits will fill the 300 places on courses in the areas of eyebrow and nail design, professional makeup, skin cleaning and waxing. The list is available on the website of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Labor and Income (Sedet-DF).

Candidates have until Thursday (25) to confirm their enrollment in the course in which they signed up. It is necessary to go to the headquarters of Instituto Me Ajude a Ajudar, in Recanto das Emas (Quadra 201, set 2, lot 1), from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, to present the supporting documents. They are: identity card (RG) or equivalent document with photo, proof of registration in the General Register of Individuals (CPF) and proof of residence in the Federal District or handwritten declaration, which is waived in the case of homeless people or of passage houses.

Although registration is still open, some training classes began last Monday (22). The courses are taught in the evening, from 6pm to 10pm, at the institute’s headquarters. The total workload is 80 class hours.

Women’s qualification

Empowering Elas is another program from Sedet-DF with the aim of qualifying women. The department has other projects such as Empreender Mulher and Mulheres Vencedoras, in addition to having the majority of the public in the main programs, such as RenovaDF, QualificaDF and Fábrica Social.

“This initiative promotes the opportunity for training aimed exclusively at women so that they can enter the job market with more professional qualifications”, argues the Secretary of Economic Development, Labor and Income, Thales Mendes.
