Tocantins is the 2nd fastest state in Brazil for those interested in opening a company, with an average time of 8 hours 46 minutes and 10 seconds to complete the registration of your company with the Commercial Board of the State of Tocantins (Jucetins). The data comes from the National Network for the Simplification of Registration and Legalization of Companies and Businesses (Redesim), linked to the Federal Government.

According to the data, the State, in less than a month, jumped two positions by reducing its average business registration time by three hours. This time takes into account responses from city halls for the prior address consultation process and from the Federal Revenue Service for registration validation, processes that in Tocantins are integrated between the municipal, state and federal governments.

If only the average time that Jucetins takes to validate the processes were taken into account, they would be completed even faster, as the state public body only takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the analysis, a clear reflection of all the investments that the Government of Tocantins has been making in recent years, mainly in Information Technology (IT).

Simplify Tocantins

Since 2019, Tocantins has had an integrated portal with several systems linked to legalized entrepreneurial activity. Through the www.simplifica.to.gov.br It is possible to carry out various types of consultations and related procedures, including the issuance of certificates, opening a company, registration changes, change of legal nature, cancellation of activity, among other services.
