The Civil Police of Acre, through the Specialized Women’s Assistance Police Station (DEAM), carried out an operation last Tuesday (2), which resulted in the arrest of three men for violence against women, in Rio Branco. DLS, aged 36, ZOA, aged 40, and JBO, aged 50, were arrested for actions involving disrespect for protective measures and rape of a vulnerable person.
The first two were arrested for failing to comply with a protective measure against their former partners. According to police information, the two did not accept the end of the relationship and began to constantly threaten and persecute their ex-partners. Despite there being a court order to stay away from the victims, the men continued. Faced with non-compliance, police chief Danilo César represented temporary arrest.

The third man, JBO, aged 50, was arrested for the crime of rape of a vulnerable person. According to investigations, the man met the victim at a gathering of friends, where they consumed alcohol. At the end of the party, the man offered the victim a ride home. “However, during the journey, it was noticed that the victim was in a vulnerable state due to the alcohol ingested. The attacker then took her to a motel, where he performed the sexual act without the victim’s consent,” says the Civil Police.

After learning of the facts, police chief Danilo César, together with his investigation team, began the investigations that culminated in the arrest of the suspect.
