Balance: 8 people murdered in Pernambuco during 24 hours; two double homicides took place

Registered 8 homicides this Tuesday (02) in Pernambuco. Two double homicides occurred. In this month of April there are already 19 murders. This year, from January until now, they killed 1,013 people in the State.

In Serra Talhada, in Sertão, a double homicide took place. Two men were shot dead at Fazenda Alto Branco, a rural area of ​​the municipality. The bodies of Jadilson Paulo de Souza, 53 years old, and Mariano Francisco da Silva, 59, were sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) in Petrolina, also in Sertão. The other double homicide happened in Goianain Zona da Mata Norte, killing two men aged 26 and 27.

In Caruaru, an attempted murder occurred. A young man was shot in the José Carlos de Oliveira neighborhood and taken to the Agreste Regional Hospital (HRA). Fernando dos Santos Farias Filho, 18 years old, was shot in the neck. The Homicide Division is investigating the attempted murder.

Still in Caruaru, the Civil Police are investigating the death of a child aged 3 years and 6 months. The little boy João Miguel de Albuquerque passed away at the UPA in the Rendeiras neighborhood, on Saturday (30). He had several bruises on his body. This Tuesday, the child’s grandfather, Alex Albuquerque, contacted the police to report his ex-wife’s current partner for the possible murder. The case is being treated as a death to be clarified.
