Police send 6 criminals involved in kidnapping and other crimes in Acre to jail

The chief delegate of the Civil Police in Epitaciolândia, Eustáquio Nemerg, revealed, this Tuesday (2), that in the last few hours, at least six men involved in kidnapping were removed from circulation in the border region with Bolivia, in Alto Acre. , arms trafficking and other crimes. Two of the six people were arrested in the act on Monday (1) and another four had preventive arrest warrants issued by the Court at the end of March.

In addition to the arrests, a police operation managed to seize a revolver, ammunition and narcotics in quantities not yet weighed by security agencies. According to the delegate, the investigations that led to the operation began with the registration of a crime of kidnapping and false imprisonment of two teenagers in the region.

One of those arrested in the act was identified by the initials LSM, aged 21. The other prisoner, due to lack of documentation, has not yet been identified. Investigations continue with the use of animals from the CPCães group.

The police action also aims to find out whether the people arrested are linked to homicides recorded in recent months in the border region. According to the Police, Alto Acre is becoming an attractive region for criminals because of the ease in committing crimes and fleeing to Bolivia, thus considering themselves beyond the reach of Brazilian police forces.
