Truck hits car and invades business in Taguatinga, DF

A driver lost control of a truck, crashed into a car and the two vehicles invaded a pharmacy on QNE 16, in Taguatinga, in the Federal District, this Monday afternoon (1st). According to the Military Police, the man stole the truck and was drunk. (see video above).

Security cameras recorded the accident. The internal images show two people at the pharmacy door and an attendant at the cashier. As soon as they noticed the vehicles heading towards the store, the three people ran to the back.

The external images show that the accident was near a busy bus stop. It is possible to see the truck hitting the car, which was dragged into the store. The video also shows people running and goods being knocked over..

According to witnesses, the driver tried to flee, but the Military Police managed to catch him. The suspect was taken to the 17th Police Station, in Taguatinga, and underwent a breathalyzer test, which came back positive for alcohol consumption. He is arrested.

One person was slightly injured by the shrapnel and was treated by the Fire Department.
