After requesting help from TCE/SE, Pedrinho Balbino thanks the agency for its intervention in resolving the impasse in Geru

This Monday morning (1), the mayor of Tomar do Geru, Pedrinho de Balbino (PP), was at the headquarters of the State Court of Auditors (TCE) to thank the members of the Court for their intervention, through dialogue, about approval of the Annual Budget Law (LOA) by the City Council.

In search of solutions to the budgetary impasse between the City Hall and the local City Council, the manager requested help from the TCE and the TCE established the Technical Table by the Court, on March 15th. Last week, the municipal parliament approved the LOA.

“I would like to record my thanks to TCE/SE for the establishment of the Technical Table that culminated in the approval of the Annual Budget Law (LOA) by the local Chamber of Councillors”, he highlighted.

The dialogue at the TCE involved manager Pedrinho de Balbino and eight of the municipality’s nine councilors, as well as members of its technical teams and the Public Accounts Ministry (MPC).

In addition to thanking the members of TCE/SE, the mayor also highlighted the commitment of his financial team to comply with salary payments for the month of February.

Pedrinho also explained that services are being resumed little by little, and classes in municipal schools have already resumed this Monday.
