A 39-year-old man was arrested this Monday (1) after stealing his ex-girlfriend’s cell phone and sharing intimate images in the group at the company she worked for. The crime took place in Água Clara (MS) and the suspect had been on the run since September 2023.
On the date of the crime, the 27-year-old victim contacted the Civil Police and reported that she had been attacked, insulted and threatened by her ex-boyfriend. During the registration of the police report, the victim also discovered that the suspect had stolen the phone and released, through a messaging application, an intimate video of the two.
According to authorities, the intimate images were sent to a group at the company where the victim worked at the time. During the search for the suspect, the Police discovered that, after the crime, the suspect fled the city.
With an open warrant, the man was arrested this Monday (1) and must answer for bodily harm against a woman, insult, threat, theft and disclosure of an unauthorized sex scene, all in the context of domestic violence.
