A tragedy shook the community of Cabrobó this Monday morning (1), with the news of the death of the truck driver from Cabrobó, Juninho, victim of a traffic accident that occurred near the District of Bendegó, in Canudos-BA.
According to preliminary reports, Juninho, named after his city, of which he was very proud, known as ‘Juninho Cabrobó’ was returning from work in Minas Gerais, when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle on BR-235. Juninho was removed from the truck alive and conscious, being taken to Canudos Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The news of Juninho Cabrobó’s death left the entire Cabroboense community dismayed, with hundreds of people expressing their sorrow for the early loss. Juninho was a well-known truck driver and a person respected for his cheerful and extroverted way of being. Juninho leaves behind a wife and a daughter.
The exact circumstances of the accident are still being investigated by the Federal Highway Police (PRF).
