PF carries out operation on indigenous land in RO to remove invaders from Amazonas

The Federal Police, with the support of the Military Police of Rondônia, FUNAI and the Federal Court, served, this Wednesday (27), a warrant for repossession in an indigenous land, in Parecis, in Rondônia.

The action took place in the Kwazá do Rio São Pedro indigenous land. According to the PF, 16 invaders were removed from the site.

“The reintegration guarantees the vacancy of indigenous land by non-original individuals, coming from Amazonas, who have settled in the region since 2023, restoring to the indigenous people the use of their territory, their well-being and integral development”, says the PF.
