Two coordinators and 14 students from a private school in Campo Grande are among the 80 Brazilian students who had to make an unscheduled landing in Portugal. The young people’s final destination was an English Olympiad in London, England.

The flight, which left São Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos, had to make an unscheduled landing on Wednesday morning (27) due to the need for unscheduled maintenance.

According to the group, there is still no forecast for boarding a new flight.

“The landing in the Portuguese city was carried out in complete safety. As a consequence, flight LA8085 (London/Heathrow – São Paulo/Guarulhos) scheduled for the 27th had to be cancelled”, informed Latam.

According to the airline, passengers will be re-accommodated on other flights to their destinations.
