MAB, MAM, MAC_BAHIA, Castro Alves Historical Park, Centro Cultural Solar Ferrão and Udo Knoff host fairs, shows, workshops and much more

The Museums managed by the Secretariat of Culture of Bahia (Secult-Ba), through the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia (IPAC-Ba), will have a program in the last week of March, between the 28th and 31st of March, special dedicated to art and culture. The events are free and promise an enriching experience for visitors.

Yoga and Circus classes at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC_BAHIA), Occupation of the Vila Velha Theater at the Museum of Art of Bahia (MAB), jazz show at the Museum of Modern Art of Bahia (MAM-BA) and open exhibitions at the Center Cultural Solar Ferrão, Udo Knoff Museum and Castro Alves Historical Park (PHCA) will be available to the public during the holiday.

Museum of Contemporary Art of Bahia (@mac_bahia): At the Museum of Contemporary Art, there is the last week of the Occupation “Mas é Carnaval” – Coletivo GIA in the Museum’s Multipurpose room and on Hallelujah Saturday (30), fun is guaranteed with the Forgiveness of Judas, scheduled to start at 11am. Furthermore, at 4:30 pm on Saturday (30) and also on Sunday (31), there will be guided tours of the MAC_BAHIA collection.

On Sunday (31), we started the day with an invigorating Yoga class led by Carla Dantas on the “Amanhecer no MAC” program at 8am. In the afternoon, at 4pm, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a fun Circus class with art educator Gio. A weekend full of culture and entertainment.

Museum of Modern Art of Bahia (MAM-BA) (@bahiamam): At the Museum of Modern Art of Bahia, the exhibitions “Walter Firmo: in the verb of silence the synthesis of scream” and “Casa de Mulheres” at Casarão enter the last week of exhibition.

On Saturday (31), it’s Jazz Day with a Bahian accent at MAM! With another edition of “Jam no MAM”, the guys from Banda Geleia Solar promise to rock Pátio Pôr do Sol from 5pm with lots of good music.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the Artistic Residency “O Museu é a Rua” at the Casa do Museu Popular da Bahia, check out the Lina Bo Bardi Art Collection at Espaço Lina and the MAM Time Line at Livraria Caramurê.

Bahia Art Museum (MAB) (@museudeartedabahia): At the Bahia Art Museum, Saturday (30), the day begins with the “Oficina a Voz Desejante” with Valeria Rocha at 10am.

On Sunday (31), at 11am, “Vila Ocupa o MAB” brings the Beanstalk Project “Mariar”: A Sea of ​​Poetry, with Lapa and Natalyne Santos, to the museum, an unmissable experience for the kids.

In addition to these events, the museum has the exhibitions “Rodin and his friends” and “The iconography of Bahia” open to visitors throughout opening hours.
