Aircraft carrying a baby is unable to land in the south of MG due to bad weather

The Arcanjo aircraft from the Fire Department that was transporting a premature baby to São Sebastião do Paraíso (MG) was unable to land in the city of Sul de Minas, on the afternoon of this Wednesday (27), due to bad weather. The plane had to return to Divinópolis (MG). The child was later taken to Formiga (MG).

According to firefighters, the aircraft was carrying the premature baby, just two days old. The child, according to the military, is from Nova Serrana, in the Central-West region of the state.

According to firefighters, the flight left Divinópolis at 2:50 pm and should have landed in São Sebastião do Paraíso 45 minutes later, where it would be taken to Santa Casa.

Unsuccessful due to the lack of visibility due to bad weather, the aircraft returned to Divinópolis.

At the end of the afternoon, the child was transferred by ambulance to Formiga (MG). According to firefighters, the child’s health condition is critical, but stable.
