Appreciating literature can be much more fun when done in a group, as it allows interaction and connection between book lovers. With this in mind, Sesc Amazonas created the “Book Club” with monthly meetings in the library of the Centro unit, Rua Henrique Martins, n.427.
The group meetings will be monthly and will start on April 13th, from 3pm to 6pm. To participate, you must register using the form available on the website.
This initiative aims to build a community committed to the art of reading and promote a welcoming and stimulating space for readers to gather and share literary experiences.
“Sesc has a strong commitment to culture and this translates into several activities that we carry out, such as the Book Club, which came to bring together people with the same passion for books in favor of promoting literature”,
explains Adriana Nascimento, Regional Director of Sesc Amazonas.
To mediate the meetings, Sesc will count on the Manaus Book Club, which will carry out interactive activities among community members, such as literary quiz, raffles and book exchanges, discussion about the book of the month, among others.
