The advisor to the Amazonas Court of Auditors (TCE-AM), Júlio Pinheiro, ordered the suspension of five public tender notices from Manacapuru City Hall due to irregularities in the contest. The decisions were published in the Official Electronic Gazette (DOE) of the Court of Auditors this Tuesday (26).

The precautionary measure granted by the rapporteur came after analysis by TCE-AM’s technical bodies, which identified several irregularities in the notices which, together, provided for the hiring of 1,225 employees for the permanent staff of Manacapuru City Hall.

The notices, which had vacancies open until April 8th, aimed to fill 47 vacancies for the Manacapuru Autonomous Water and Sewage Service; 22 vacancies for the Municipal Transport Institute; 310 vacancies for the City Hall; 8 for the Social Security Fund, and 838 for the area of education.

Irregularities found

The analysis by the technical bodies of the Court of Auditors identified, in all five notices, a lack of social inclusion, not including the minimum percentage of vacancies for candidates with disabilities (PCD) nor reserving vacancies for black candidates, in disagreement with the legislation of the municipality. The absence of bibliography for preparing the evidence in some cases was also noted.

In view of the irregularities, the decision of the TCE-AM advisor was to suspend the notices until the City of Manacapuru makes rectification to include the vacancies reserved for black candidates, as well as the reopening of the deadline for registration, respecting the minimum deadlines established by law .
