The State Secretariat for Education and Sports of Roraima (SEED RR) will register until April 2nd in the new simplified selection process that aims to hire professionals to fill a total of 63 vacancies for Basic Education Teachers – Elementary School (6th to 9th year), High School Teachers and Youth and Adult Education Teachers – EJA in various regions of the state.

The hiring will be temporary and the position’s activities will be carried out in state public schools in the capital and in the interior. Of the total number of places, 10% will be reserved for people with disabilities (PwD).

The new selection will fill positions of:
- Arts Teacher
- Biological Sciences Teacher
- Physical education teacher
- Spanish teacher
- Religious Education Teacher
- Philosophy teacher
- Physics teacher
- Geography teacher
- History teacher
- English Language Teacher
- Portuguese Language Teacher
- Maths teacher
- Chemistry teacher
- Professor of Sociology
A degree in the discipline, being in compliance with electoral obligations, being up to date with military duties will be required in the case of male candidates, among other requirements.
Teachers’ salary will be BRL 2,441.25 for a weekly workload of 16 hours, R$ 3,814.45 for 25 hours per week and BRL 4,577.36 for 30 hours per week.
Registration must be made between March 28th and April 2nd, 2024, online, through the SEED-RR website. When registering, the candidate must indicate the municipality and the discipline in which they intend to work.
Evidences
The selection process will only include proof of titles where the following criteria will be scored:
- Doctorate: 30 points, with a maximum of 1;
- Master’s degree: 25 points, with a maximum of 1;
- Specialization (minimum 360h): 15 points, with a maximum of 1;
- Courses in the area of education (minimum 20h): 05 points each, with a maximum of 4;
- Participation in events or training (minimum of 8 hours): 05 points each, with a maximum of 10 points.
The final result will be released on April 16th at DOE/RR – www.imprensaoficial.rr.gov.br.
