Coach Jairo Nascimento, from Tocantinópolis, and Luiz Carlos Prima, from União, will decide the title of the 2024 edition of the Tocantinense Championship. Jairo Nascimento faces his 4th final in a row, and has already made history after becoming the only coach to win the third consecutive elite championship, in the last edition. The greatest champions Carlos Magno and Roberto Oliveira, with six titles each, did not achieve this feat.

Jairo Nascimento can expand this record if he wins the fourth cup in a row. Luiz Carlos Prima can win his first trophy and enter the list as the 19th to win the competition. The coach, too, may be responsible for bringing the club its second championship after 30 years. Prima led the team to the final without suffering any defeat – six wins and three draws. The good campaign in the 1st phase allowed the celestial team to decide the second game of the final at home.
