Operation 360 Infinity of the Military Police of Santa Catarina turned one year old last Sunday (24). Since then, 17.5 tons of drugs have been seized and 70.5 thousand people arrested in the act or with an active arrest warrant. According to the PM, the corporation’s entire operational staff was incorporated into the operation, which seized more than 17.5 tons of drugs. There were 15.3 tons of marijuana, 1.8 tons of cocaine, 6,574 grams of amphetamines, 2,237 bottles of anabolic steroids, 313,184 grams of crack, 41,548 grams of hashish, 4,056 grams of base paste, 217,215 ecstasy tablets, 12,180 microdots of LSD , 1031 marijuana plants and 371 bottles of perfume launched from illegal sales.
The actions resulted in the arrest of 70,589 people in the act or with an arrest warrant issued. The PMSC also seized 2,499 weapons this year and recovered 5,991 vehicles, including cars and motorcycles.
For Colonel Pelozato, this work is due to the effort made by the corporation to identify criminal actions and integrated action with the other Santa Catarina security forces.
