Driver loses control and truck overturns in Colinas do Tocantins

The crash took place on Sunday night (24) and the driver is 26 years old. In the image published by the Instagram page @colinasnoticias2, it is possible to see the truck approaching the sidewalk at high speed. The vehicle advances over the parked motorcycle, hits one of the headlights and ends up falling between the tree and the wall.

Shortly after the crash, people who were nearby went to the scene of the accident, possibly to try to help the victim.

The driver’s brother told firefighters that the young man had just left his mother’s wake and was “emotional and sleepless.”

To the Military Police (PM), the driver said he left his mother’s wake to go to a pharmacy, as he was feeling abdominal cramps. When he was on the way, he remembers blacking out moments before the accident.

When he was rescued, he showed signs of drowsiness and the beginning of a seizure. No injuries were identified, but the driver was taken to hospital and remained under observation overnight.

The owner of the motorcycle reported to the PM that she had just parked and when she was at the door of a church, she saw the truck at high speed. The driver also hit another car after losing control, according to the woman. The owner of the affected house was not at the scene.

As there was a fuel leak, firefighters had to cut battery cables to prevent a possible fire. To do this, they had to remove the hood of the truck. The expert analyzed the circumstances of the accident and those involved were advised to register the case at the Civil Police Station.
