Municipal government guarantees that data will be confidential and that the study will map the health problems that affect male and female employees

The Union of Workers of the Municipal Public Service of Campinas (STMC) informs that it will monitor the research on the health and well-being of male and female employees in the workplace that will be carried out by the City of Campinas. Any action that comes to expand care for workers will always have the support of the Union.

However, it is necessary to ensure that workers’ personal information is not collected and that reports do not become a reason for retaliation or pressure in the workplace.

According to the City Hall, employee participation will be voluntary. The research is a partnership between the School of Government and Server Development (EGDS), the Elos program and Mobilização Freemind, which will be responsible for collecting the data.

Anyone who wants to participate must answer the survey at https://forms.gle/S2z2TG9hABbpiqPf7. We hope that the results will guide government actions to end moral harassment, lack of adequate work structure and problems that lead to diseases such as RSI, stress and depression. Also that there is effective participation of the STMC and workers in the discussion of these measures.
